Product description
This is a striking speaker set, designed by Sander Mulder for Buro Vormkrijgers.
This set is the only one recently modified to also be hung on the wall,
which puts these speakers in a completely different and surprising perspective.
Both units are otherwise in good condition and have also recently been extensively checked and small damages retouched.
The sound of the two-way system is surprisingly full and detailed with pleasant bass.
The set can be listened to upon collection...
Ai; The design transforms an everyday object into a piece of functional art, combining the shape of a dog with high-quality audio components. This concept, described as 'functional kitsch', creates an object with both aesthetic and auditory value.
The set was manufactured in the Netherlands and dates from 2006. The housing is made of durable polyurethane with a white, glossy finish. The dimensions are 51 cm high, 29 cm wide and 43 cm deep. The built-in speakers are from the Polk brand, which ensures reliable sound quality. The combination of the sculptural form and the technical specifications makes this a unique design piece.
The speakers are in very good condition, retaining their original finish and structure. The set is fully functional and shows only minimal signs of use consistent with its age and careful use. The detailed texture of the dog's fur is sharp and intact, contributing to the object's character.
This speaker set is more than just a sound system; it is a conversation piece that adds a playful and artistic element to any interior. The set fits perfectly into a modern, eclectic or minimalist decor and can be placed on the floor or mounted on the wall for a surprising visual effect.
