The sacred statue (1900) of Jean Baptiste Marie Vianney (1786-1859) who lived in Ars-sur-Formans. Vianney was canonized in 1925 by Pope Pius XI. He was also called the pastor of Ars. How I understand this was a good man for fellow man. The statue is very beautifully and delicately decorated. On the pedestal it says: Bien Heureux (Blessed). Made of plaster. Because of its age, the statue has come completely in atmosphere. Height: 28.5 cm. Width: 18 cm. Depth: 11 cm.
The figurine is in good condition but has wear marks as shown in the pictures. This is nice and only makes him more beautiful.
