About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a vintage three-seater sofa, designed in the 1970s for the Danish manufacturer Holstebro. The piece of furniture is a representative example of Scandinavian design from that period, characterized by the combination of natural materials and a functional, organic design.
The sofa's frame is made of solid wood with a warm tone and a visible grain structure, which is characteristic of the teak wood used. The continuous sled base and the flowing armrests create an elegant and coherent silhouette. The upholstery is made of dark brown, almost black, leather, and the cushions feature subtle tufting that contributes to both comfort and aesthetics.
The overall condition of the sofa is good and consistent with its age and use. Over the years, the leather has developed a characteristic patina, which emphasizes the authenticity of the piece. The wooden frame is structurally solid, and the original finish has been preserved, which underscores the historical value of the furniture.
With its clean lines and rich materials, this Danish three-seater sofa fits perfectly into various interior styles, from Mid-Century Modern and Scandinavian to a more eclectic or minimalist decor. It is a comfortable and stylish piece of furniture for the living room.
