About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
For sale is a Scandinavian design classic: a mouth-blown, signed glass vase from the famous "Labrador" series by Holmegaard (Denmark), 1962, designed by glass artist Per Lütken. The vase captivates with its simple, organic cylindrical shape and the characteristic, smoky Labrador gray-blue color, which shimmers elegantly depending on the light. The thick glass base gives the delicate object a substantial, high-quality feel. Manufacturer: Holmegaard (Denmark) Design: Per Lütken (Series: Labrador, Form number 19) Year: 1962 Height: 125 mm Weight: 263 g Condition: Excellent condition! No chips, no deep scratches, and no glass defects. The glass is perfectly clear. Signature: Original incised signature on the base: "Holmegaard 19 PL 62" (see photos). The object is in very good condition and displays the authentic character of a carefully preserved vintage piece. The original engraving on the base confirms the authenticity and provenance of this collector's vase. A perfect collector's item for lovers of Danish Mid-Century Modern design. This Scandinavian design object blends harmoniously into both modern and classic interiors. It is ideal as a standalone decorative element on a sideboard or as a stylish addition to an existing glass collection.
