Private sellerProduct description
This is a Dutch cabinet, made of solid oak around the year 1800 and painted manganese red. The piece of furniture represents a classic Dutch style period and stands out due to its robust and stately presence. The cabinet is finished with elegant brass fittings, including handles and key plates, which form an elegant contrast with the wood. The inside is equipped with various shelves, providing ample storage options. The construction testifies to traditional craftsmanship from the Netherlands. The overall condition of the cabinet is good, in accordance with its age of more than two centuries. Over the years, the wood has developed a deep, warm patina that contributes to its authentic appearance. The cabinet is built from a solid base with drawers and loose panels and loose shelves for the top part, as was customary at the time. Thanks to its imposing form and classic aesthetic, this cabinet is a striking piece. It can serve excellently as a storage cabinet, linen cabinet, or liquor cabinet in a living room, dining room, or study.
