The Minotti Hamilton corner sofa, designed by Rodolfo Dordoni in 2004, is a defining design within modern Italian interior design. This modular seating system introduced an architectural approach to lounge furniture, combining low, clean lines with an inviting volume.
The construction consists of a solid wood frame fitted with woven elastic straps with a high rubber content for optimal suspension. The generous seat and back cushions are constructed from a core of high-quality polyurethane foam, finished with compartments of real goose down. This ensures a soft, plush appearance while maintaining the clean geometric shape. The sofa features light beige textile upholstery and rests on a subtle metal base. A practical detail is that the fabric covers of both the cushions and the frame are completely removable.
The furniture is in good, functional condition, retaining its original shape and comfort. The modular construction consisting of three parts offers flexibility in placement and transport.
