Product description
A set of two authentic table legs, designed by George Nelson for Herman Miller. This specific design, Model 5559, is a characteristic example of mid-century functionalism and offers a solid base for a custom-made piece of furniture. The legs are made of cast aluminum, finished in a subtle cream color. The design consists of a single column that transitions into a stable four-star base, a signature of Nelson's approach to form and function. The original Herman Miller brand sticker is present, confirming authenticity. The legs are equipped with floor protectors. This vintage set is in good condition commensurate with its age and use. The legs have developed a characteristic patina that adds to their historical charm. The structural integrity is fully intact, ready for a new life as part of a unique piece of furniture. These table legs are ideal for creating a desk, a small dining table or a console. They fit seamlessly into an interior with a Mid-Century Modern, minimalist or eclectic decor and offer a timeless design base.
