For sale: a true design classic, an original Charles & Ray Eames Fiberglass Armchair by Herman Miller, including a white La Fonda base.
The chair impresses with its iconic shape and the beautiful color combination of a creamy white fiberglass shell and the original fabric upholstery (Hopsak) in vibrant orange. The chair stands on a sturdy, swiveling four-star base (Contract Base) in white.
Condition:
The chair is in honest vintage condition with a beautiful patina. The fiberglass shell is intact. The fabric shows signs of age and slight discoloration (see photos), which does not detract from the authentic mid-century look. A great piece for collectors and lovers of modern design.
