Product description
A special photographic portrait of Herman Brood (1946–2001), the legendary Dutch rock-'n'-roll musician, artist, and performer.
Photographed in 1981 by Robbert Frank Hagens, during a period when Brood grew into one of the most striking personalities in the Dutch music and art world.
An authentic historical document that captures the idiosyncratic charisma of this cultural icon. Not only a photographic artwork, but also a special piece of Dutch music history.
Exclusive gallery finish
The original photo from 1981 was produced in 2024 as a high-quality analog C-print on professional glossy photographic paper. Not an inkjet print, but a traditional photographic exposure process with exceptional black-and-white reproduction and rich tonal gradations.
The photo is mounted on 3 mm aluminum Dibond and finished with 3 mm high-gloss plexiglass. This high-quality finish gives the image extra depth and an impressive appearance.
