This vintage lighting object is a Hergil 200 "Buchleselampe" clamp lamp, produced by the German brand Hergil Germany around the 1950s. This functional mid-century model was designed to be clamped to bookshelves, bedside tables, or desks as a reading lamp. The compact design is characterized by a black housing (Bakelite), a distinctive mushroom-shaped shade, and a convenient thumb switch on the neck. This is a vintage item. This means it has been used. Items are not new or perfect, but they are very beautiful! Most vintage items show signs of wear. The extent of these signs of wear is stated in the description. Photos are part of this description. Please examine them carefully. Vintage (read: used) items sometimes show color variations, uneven wear, and/or normal wear. Please take this into account when making a purchase.
When shipped, the item is carefully packed to prevent damage. I ship in recycled and eco-friendly boxes.
