This gorgeous Mid Century Modern Sideboard was designed by Henry Walther Klein, dating from the 1950s. Crafted by Bramin Møbler in Denmark, this elegant credenza exemplifies superb craftsmanship and balanced proportions characteristic of Klein’s work.
Featuring two sliding tambour doors and four practical drawers, the sideboard offers both functionality and aesthetic appeal. The drawers are thoughtfully constructed with grips that subtly fall beneath them, enhancing the sleek appearance, lined with green felt on the inside. Subtle ergonomic handles add an elegant detail, while the four tapered legs imbue the piece with a sense of lightness.
Constructed from high-quality dark exotic wood, the sideboard boasts a stunning grain and rich coloration. The piece is after careful restoration, was cleaned and refinished with high quality wood oil that nourishes the wood and provides protection. Original manufacture’s stamp is still preserved on the back of the pice as shown in the pictures. Originally designed by Henry Walther Klein, whose refined vision reflects the essence of Danish Modern Style – this piece is a sought-after design classic.
Klein’s expertise, trained under Finn Juhl and influenced by Scandinavian design principles, shines through in the harmonious proportions and fine craftsmanship of this sideboard. An iconic addition to any collection, it combines functional elegance with historical significance, making it a perfect centerpiece for both modern and traditional interiors.
