Product description
This beautiful work in the original wooden frame is a feast for the eyes. The thickly applied colors jump off the 'canvas'. Work is painted on panel. Acrylic, 100 x 70 centimeters.
About the artist:
Henk Klinkhamer was born on March 31, 1952 in Leiden. At the age of 14 he already exhibited with the artists' association "Lijn en Kleur" from Hillegom, eight of his gouaches were shown.
From 1965 to 1967 Klinkhamer was taught by the painter Kees Heemskerk Sr., a landscape and portrait painter from Hillegom, and he produced many still lifes and portraits.
At the same time he took a drawing and painting course at F.A.S. in Amstelveen. During this period he worked a lot with Kees Heemskerk Sr. and several others.
