Private sellerProduct description
Colonial furniture, sheepskin leather, very good condition, cleanly riveted, heavy robust teak wood. Connoisseurs know about its cult status and value. Please Google the price, especially what is asked for it in the UK. Serious inquiries only, please.
This Hemingway Armchair is a classic piece of furniture, crafted from a solid wood frame and upholstered with high-quality sheepskin leather. Its design, reminiscent of colonial or campaign furniture, is characterized by elegantly curved armrests and a robust, yet refined construction.
The Armchair is made of dark stained wood, which has a warm, reddish-brown hue. The seat and backrest consist of a single piece of thick, durable sheepskin leather in a deep brown tone, stretched over the frame. Decorative details such as the visible cross-stitch seam on the leather and the edges adorned with brass rivets emphasize the craftsmanship character of the Armchair. The curved armrests end in volute-like embellishments, also featuring brass accents.
The Armchair is in good condition, corresponding to its age and use.
With its striking silhouette, this Armchair is an ideal companion for a library, a study, or a cozy reading nook. It seamlessly integrates into classic, eclectic, or vintage-inspired interiors and offers comfortable and stylish seating.
