Product description
A classic English style drop-leaf table from the Dutch furniture manufacturer Heldense. This piece of furniture is crafted from mahogany wood and displays the refined aesthetic characteristic of the brand. The design, with its foldable leaves and elegant silhouette, is a timeless addition to any interior.
The table is made of rich mahogany wood, recognizable by its warm, deep brown color and vibrant grain structure. The oval top features a decorative trim and can be reduced in size by folding down the two 'ears', making it a versatile piece of furniture. The table rests on slender, tapered legs inlaid with lighter wood, emphasizing the craftsmanship. A discreet drawer, finished with a metal knob, offers practical storage space. The dimensions are 110 cm in width, 72 cm in height, and 62 cm in depth when folded.
The overall condition of the table is good, with a character that matches its age. The wood has developed an authentic patina that adds to the charm of the piece. The construction is solid, and the folding mechanisms function properly.
This drop-leaf table is particularly suitable as a compact dining table in a smaller dining room or kitchen. When folded, the piece functions excellently as an elegant console or sidetable in a hallway or living room, fitting into both classic and eclectic interiors.
