Product description
This is a refined perfume bottle from the Art Deco period, crafted by the German silversmith Heinrich Hermann. The object combines clear crystal glass with a silver mounting, a characteristic of the high-quality accessories of that era. The bottle stands out due to its elegant shape and the detailed engraving on the stopper, which depicts a playful mythological scene.
The bottle is made of faceted crystal glass, which provides a brilliant light reflection. The neck is crafted from 800 silver, as indicated by the maker's mark. The octagonal stopper features a masterful intaglio engraving of a seated figure blowing bubbles towards a putto, surrounded by flora. This type of craftsmanship was typical for luxury glass and silver works from Germany and Bohemia in the 1920s and 1930s.
The object is in excellent condition, maintaining the clarity of the glass and the integrity of the silverwork. The light patina on the silver is consistent with its age and contributes to the authentic character of the piece. The stopper fits snugly on the bottle.
A small fragment is broken off inside the bottle.
