Vintage HECA Edam piano lamp designed by Dutch designer H.Th.J.A. Busquet and produced in the Netherlands during the 1950s-1960s.This elegant Mid-Century Modern lamp features a long horizontal dark brown metal shade, a chrome-plated adjustable arm and a matching dark brown metal base. Originally designed as a piano lamp, it also works beautifully as a desk lamp, reading lamp or accent light.The elongated shade contains two E14 fittings and provides pleasant, practical illumination while maintaining the clean, functional aesthetic that characterises Dutch modernist design.The lamp retains its original vintage electrical cord and European two-pin plug. The lamp is working. As with all vintage electrical items, it has not been professionally safety tested and may benefit from inspection or rewiring for intensive modern use.ConditionGood vintage condition with age-related wear.Please note that the base shows visible paint loss, chips and surface wear.
