Product description
This is the rare square version of the iGuzzini Model "Dada", also known by model number 5088 or as the Guzzini square light panel. The design, originating from the in-house technical team of iGuzzini illuminazione in Italy, was introduced around 1979 and represents a characteristic piece of Italian design from the late seventies.
The panel is crafted from white plastic and features a geometric relief with four semicircular cutouts that spread the light in a soft, diffuse manner. The original 'harvey guzzini made in italy' brand label is still present, confirming the authenticity of this vintage piece. The clean lines and minimalist use of materials are typical of the Space Age and modernist influences of that period.
The object is in good vintage condition, retaining its character and functionality. The original finish shows the ravages of time in a way befitting the age of the piece.
