About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is an elegant armchair, designed by Hartmut Lohmeyer for the German manufacturer Wilkhahn. The piece is a beautiful example of mid-century design, characterized by its clean lines and organically shaped wooden frame.
The frame is made of warm-toned wood, which forms a beautiful contrast with the new upholstery. The chair has been professionally re-upholstered with a high-quality, textured fabric in a vibrant moss-green color, reminiscent of chartreuse. This gives the classic armchair a fresh and contemporary look.
The chair is in excellent condition, thanks to the new upholstery and the well-maintained frame. The frame itself shows the expected signs of wear, appropriate for the age of the piece. Its comfort and aesthetics make it a versatile piece of furniture. This armchair fits perfectly as a striking accent in a modern or Scandinavian interior, for example in a reading nook or next to a sofa.
