Very nice sculpture by sculptor Harry Storms. Harry Storms was a well-known Dutch sculptor known for his dynamic sculptures of horses. He was born August 11, 1945 in Tegelen, followed a pedagogical education and later studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw with Jerzy Jarnuszkiewicz. Storms' career began in the mid-1970s with exhibitions of his bronze sculptures in Sittard, after which he established a gallery and sculpture garden in Sterksel called De Procure Storms' horse sculptures are best known for their sense of movement and vitality. They can be found in various locations throughout the Netherlands. One of his prominent works, "Bronze Horse," stands in Someren. This sculpture is praised for its lifelike depiction of a horse in motion, reflecting Storms' skill in capturing the essence of his subjects Other notable horse sculptures by Storms include "Horse" in Helmond and "Tetje's Horse" in Aarle-Rixtel. This was followed by exhibitions at home and abroad. He also started a gallery and sculpture garden, the Procure, in Sterksel. He works mostly in bronze, with ballerinas and horses being recurring themes in his work. His horses are not static animals, but seem to be in constant motion.
