Product description
For sale is a rare, three-part combination from the legendary M125 modular furniture system, designed in 1956 by Hans Gugelot (Hochschule für Gestaltung HfG Ulm) for Möbelwerkstätte Wilhelm Bofinger. The M125 system is considered a pioneering work of German post-war design. This version features light wood (ash/oak) in combination with fine, textile front coverings. During the design period, the fabric-covered frame modules primarily served as functional, acoustically permeable phono and hi-fi units (speaker and equipment cabinets). The modular system is based on Gugelot's characteristic 125 mm grid and impresses with its extremely reduced, timeless design language.
