Haniwa Warrio Head - Japan - Kofun (300-538 AD)/ Asuka period (538-710 AD) Fair condition, see description - 22×12.5×12.5 cm Ancient Japanese Kofun or Haniwa Warrior Head, ca.4th-8th century AD. Size : widht app. 12.5 cm Depth appr. 12,5 cm Height appr. 22cm Weight 1.4 kg ( head only ) Of low-fired reddish clay, the surface finished with fine incised lines. Comes with box. Haniwa figures are terracotta funerary figures that accompanied the dead buried in early Japan, from the 3rd century to the 8th century. These figures could also have been effigies, horses, houses, or other kinds of offerings like animals, boats, or simple cylinders. Will be very securely packed. shipping costs include packing
