Our vintage rugs that we find in Iran come from second-hand Persian rugs that continue their journey after being remodeled and redesigned. Designers based in Iran recycle old handmade Persian rugs as raw material for their art. Each rug is carefully selected and undergoes a unique process of washing and colour neutralization. In a creative process, parts of the pile are removed or reduced to create a new design. The rug is then re-dyed in new fascinating colors and patterns. The result is a unique and modern individual work of art. Of course, these vintage rugs are old and used and the condition is accordingly, which is part of the product.
