Our vintage rugs, sourced from Iran, are made from used Persian carpets that continue their journey after being redesigned and reimagined. Iranian-based designers recycle old handmade Persian carpets as raw material for their art. Each rug is carefully selected and undergoes a unique washing and color-neutralizing process. In a creative process, parts of the pile are removed or reduced to create a new design. The rug is then re-dyed in captivating new colors and patterns. The result is a unique and modern work of art. Naturally, these vintage rugs are old and used, and their condition reflects this, which is part of the product's charm.
