Product description
Unique 'Sphere' Spherical vase, handmade and crafted with glass paste. Glass paste (pate de verre) is a decorative glass technique achieved by heating glass splinters with a binding agent. This allows for the creation of unique, detailed glass designs.
The white and black glass paste lies on the glass. The gas formation resulting from the heating creates bubbles that are visible within the glass.
The spherical vase is handmade (or mouth-blown). This is also evident from the marks left on the glass paste during application, as well as on the underside of the vase. A truly unique item. No chips or scratches. In very neat condition.
