✨ Set of 5 Nesting Boxes in Straw Marquetry ✨
A superb antique set of six nesting boxes in black papier-mâché, delicately lacquered and subtly enhanced with fine hand-painted gilding.
Each piece features remarkable straw marquetry: geometric patterns, meticulously woven and inlaid straw, and warm, honeyed reflections that shift with the light.
Refined craftsmanship, full of charm and character, as beautiful as a decorative object as it is useful for everyday life.
