Description:
For sale: A beautiful, authentic, and hand-carved nativity set made from high-quality olive wood. Very detailed. This set originates from the Bethlehem region and is in excellent condition.
Olive wood is known for its unique, warm wood grain and contrasting veins. Because each figure is handmade, every piece in this set is a unique work of art.
This is a rare, extra-large version. The details in the wood carving are truly beautiful.
The set is very complete and consists of 15 parts:
Baby Jesus in the manger
Mary & Joseph (Joseph is no less than 23 cm high)
The Three Wise Men / Kings (largest figures are 27 cm high)
Shepherds and various secondary figures
Various stable and pasture animals (including a reclining ox/cow, donkey, and sheep)
Dimensions:
Largest figures (Wise Men): 27 cm
Joseph: 23 cm
Purchased in 1986.
A timeless, extensive, and atmospheric set for the holidays that can last for generations.
Condition & Delivery:
In very good and neat condition. Preference is for pickup due to the value and fragility of the figures. Shipping is possible at the buyer's risk and expense (will, of course, be packed very carefully).
