About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This liquor cabinet comes from North India, from the Kashmir region, and is entirely hand-carved. This is evident from the top, where the carving continues over the entire surface.
The cabinet is made of beautiful walnut wood, recognizable by its warm color and rich, natural grain. The piece most likely dates from the late 1960s.
Functionality of this liquor cabinet:
The top lid folds open to reveal a mirrored crown. The central panel drops forward to become a mirrored serving tray, with a pull-out rack behind it, featuring recesses for glasses and bottles, finished with red velvet. The two curved side doors open to semi-circular shelves with bottle holders. At the bottom are two spacious drawers. When closed, it is a compact, elegant semi-circular cabinet; when open, it is a complete bar.
