Product description
This Art piece is a hand-painted depiction on opaline glass, featuring a modern interpretation of the Holy Mary with the child Jesus. The composition combines religious iconography with a stylized, almost graphic aesthetic characteristic of the mid-20th century.
Dimensions 17 x 31 cm.
The work is made from multiple panels of opaline glass, which are hand-painted and then mounted on a wooden backplate. The image is characterized by a soft color palette of blue, pink, and yellow, accented by strong black contours and gray shadows. The whole is framed in a simple wooden frame that focuses on the image. A sticker on the back, numbered 158, indicates production in a limited series.
The object is in very good condition, appropriate for its age. The colors are bright and the glass is intact, without visible cracks or chips. The inherent translucency of the opaline glass gives the depiction a subtle depth and a soft glow.
This wall panel is an understated yet expressive piece that can find a place in both modern and more classic interiors. It functions well as a solitary Art piece in a hallway, study, or a quiet corner of the living room.
