About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a handmade sculptural rocking chair, crafted from circular oak wood with walnut accents. The design is inspired by the organic forms of American furniture designer Sam Maloof, resulting in a unique and expressive piece of furniture.
The chair is entirely constructed from recycled oak wood, sourced from old tables, which provides a stable and characterful material. The flowing joints and details are executed in solid American walnut, creating an elegant contrast with the lighter oak. Each component is hand-shaped and sanded to a silky-smooth surface, emphasizing the artisanal craftsmanship.
The ergonomically shaped seat and flexible back slats are designed for exceptional seating comfort. The chair is in new condition, recently completed, and shows no signs of use. It is a functional work of art that combines the principles of sustainability and high-quality woodworking.
With its sculptural presence and natural materials, this rocking chair fits perfectly into both modern and classic interiors. It is a statement piece that adds warmth and refined design to a living room, study, or reading nook.
