Product description
This handcrafted, turned plant stand from the 1950s is a classic example of traditional woodworking. The piece captivates with its sculptural form and the warm appeal of the solid oak. Crafted from oak, the stand showcases detailed turning with gentle curves and distinctive grooves. The natural grain of the wood in warm brown tones is beautifully highlighted by the smooth surface. The construction consists of a sturdy, round base, a profiled shaft, and a flat, round shelf, ideal for displaying plants or decorative objects. The plant stand is in good condition, reflecting its age and use. Over the decades, the wood has developed an authentic patina that enhances the piece's vintage character. This plant stand blends harmoniously with a variety of interior design styles, from rustic to mid-century modern. It offers a stylish way to showcase plants in living rooms, hallways or conservatories, giving each room a natural, organic touch.
