Product description
This hand-painted ceramic plate is a characteristic piece of Italian design from the 1950s. The object stands out due to its irregular, asymmetrical shape and the stylized, figurative representation typical of the mid-twentieth century.
The plate is made of glazed ceramic and is entirely hand-decorated. The central figure is executed in a vibrant palette of blue, red, and yellow, accented with geometric patterns. This colorful image contrasts with a subtle background of fine, vertical gray lines on a white base. On the back, the piece is signed and marked with 'Italy', confirming its origin.
The overall condition of the plate is very good, consistent with its age and previous use. It exhibits an authentic character that reflects the object's history. The plate is fitted with a cord on the back, allowing it to be hung directly as Wall decoration.
As a decorative accent, this plate adds a touch of Mid-Century Modern and Italian flair to an interior. It functions excellently as a standalone art object on the wall or as part of a ceramic collection.
