A large cobalt blue flower blossoms at the center of the design, highlighted by a small orange-yellow flower and deep green foliage, all hand-painted on an ivory background accented by a reddish-brown border characteristic of German faience. The tapered handle, the elegant shape of the server, the gleaming glaze. A table accessory that found its place in bourgeois households of the early 20th century, alongside porcelain cake sets. The mark on the back, 'Germany' within a starry circle with the number 23, places this piece within German export production from the years . A small chip at the tip and a few tiny chips along the rim attest to its age. Approximately 28 cm in length.
