Original screen print by the Dutch artist Han Klinkhamer. Although Klinkhamer is known for his thick, layered oil paintings of the Noord-Brabant floodplains landscape, this specific graphic work reflects an earlier, more figurative and colorful period in his career.
This is a screen print by the Dutch artist Han Klinkhamer, titled 'Untitled' and created in 1988. The artwork displays a dynamic and abstract-figurative composition characteristic of the postmodern period.
The artwork is a limited edition, numbered 43 of 90, and is signed and dated in pencil by the artist. The screen printing technique is evident in the clear, flat color fields in shades of blue, pink, yellow, and green, which form a powerful visual contrast. The composition, with a falling or diving figure, creates a sense of movement and tension within the image plane.
The screen print is in good, age-related condition and is professionally framed. The work is behind glass, set in a sleek, silver-colored metal frame with a gray passe-partout that accentuates the colors of the print.
With its expressive style and vibrant color palette, this work is a striking addition to a modern, eclectic, or minimalist interior. It can serve as a central artwork in a living room, study, or hallway.
