Sophisticated modernist floor lamp designed by Nigel Walters, ca 1958.
Together with Anvia, Hala and Raak , Hagoort was the market leader in the Dutch market in the field of progressive lighting design in the 1950s. Many Dutch lighting companies then took their first steps on the international market and started producing in a modern, Scandinavian style, resulting in this great slim, lightweight 'boomerang' lamp, named after the shape of the base.
Thanks to the subtle brass details and the lightweight black perforated metal shade, this lamp has a very attractive elegant appearance. Its modest size makes it a great addition to almost any type of space.
