About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
For the lover of chic Italian design! A beautiful and rare vintage brass desk lamp / Table lamp of the model 'Lloyds', produced in Italy for the renowned design house Habitat in the 70s / 80s.
This model has a brilliant minimalist look thanks to the slender, elegantly curved brass rod and the heavy, solid round base. The unique shell-shaped shade is tiltable, allowing you to direct the light very precisely onto a desk or sideboard. Inside, the lamp still has the original paper type sticker ("Lloyds Desk Light - Made in Italy - Habitat"), which guarantees its authenticity for collectors.
Specifications:
• Brand/Sale: Habitat
• Model: Lloyds Desk Light
• Country of origin: Italy (Made in Italy)
• Period: 70s / 80s (Hollywood Regency / Mid-Century Modern)
• Material: Shiny brass (yellow copper)
• Socket B22, Bayonet fitting (max. 60W)
Condition:
In a beautiful, shiny vintage condition with a wonderfully authentic character. The brass has light, superficial age-related patina and signs of use on the base and shade (as appropriate for its age), which gives the lamp its true vintage charm. No deep dents or major damage. The wiring has been checked and works excellently.
Collection possible by arrangement. Shipping is optional and at the buyer's risk and expense (will of course be packed with extreme care).
