Rare monumental triptych by Dutch artist Guillaume Le Roy (1938–2008), created for his 1973 exhibition at Galerie K276, Keizersgracht 276, Amsterdam. This remarkable work consists of 18 interconnected etchings mounted across three folding panels, forming a single abstract composition. The original metal plaque states an edition of 10; however, according to Mikel Le Roy, son of the artist, no more than six examples are believed to have been completed, as Guillaume rarely finished his editions in full. The work beautifully captures Le Roy's distinctive visual language of his dreamlike compositions, where portals, hidden openings, architectural forms, and symbolic figures emerge from richly layered surfaces, inviting the viewer into imagined worlds between abstraction and reality. Signed and dated 1971. The triptych is also referenced and documented in *Guillaume Le Roy* by Erik Slagter. Combined with our correspondence with the artist’s son, Mikel Le Roy, and the documentation published in the book, we can confidently confirm that this work was created for Guillaume Le Roy’s exhibition at Galerie K276 in 1973, Keizersgracht 276, Amsterdam. Edition 5/10. Believed to be no more than 6 made according to his son. Dimensions: 147 cm H × 88 cm W (folded) / 147 cm H × 176 cm W (fully unfolded). Price on request. The piece can be wall-mounted using the original mounting points on the reverse, or displayed freestanding as a sculptural room divider.
