Description
Friulian artist Guido Coletti is acclaimed for blending neodadaist and combine-art techniques in his sculptural works. This striking pair of chairs, created in 1995, perfectly captures his creative language. Each seat is a hand-carved, one-of-a-kind creation layered with expressive collage, vibrant paint, and abstract compositions.
Designed to function individually or as a single sculptural piece, the two chairs form an abstract heart shape when positioned side by side — a bold and poetic gesture. The surfaces are full of energetic textures, vivid brushstrokes, and mixed media elements, echoing Coletti’s approach to turning everyday materials into emotionally charged artworks.
These chairs are not only functional but also collectible, bridging the worlds of design and contemporary art. With their whimsical heart-shaped silhouette and their roots in Italy’s postmodern design culture, they make a statement in any high-end interior, gallery, or design-focused space.
