Large mirror designed by the well-known designer Guglielmo Ulrich and produced by Arredamenti Casa between the 1940s and 1950s. In excellent condition, original Ar.Ca label.
In 1930 Guglielmo Ulrich founded the company Ar.Ca (home furnishings), for which he will take care of the design of furnishings. His furniture is characterized by a great attention to the construction and attention to detail of materials, while the production is always of a high craftsmanship level. Particular is the use of fine woods. Ulrich designs, manufactures and sells his furniture.
In the first steps of Italian Industrial Production, Ulrich chooses to create furniture and objects in unique pieces for an elite client: high quality craftsmanship guarantees tradition, while design is modern and eclectic. All this perfectly in line with the tastes of the Milanese upper middle class, which is looking for a modern answer to its needs for representation.
In these years Ulrich therefore became the trusted architect of the Milanese upper and middle bourgeoisie: among his clients he included names such as Mondadori, Agnelli, Visconti, Gavazzi, Dubini. The wealthy families have chosen it both for an affinity of tastes and for personal knowledge.
