This is a vintage ceramic vase, manufactured by the French potters' collective Accolay. The piece is characterized by its distinctive sgraffito technique, depicting a stylized dancing figure.
The vase has a height of 30 cm and a diameter of 20 cm at its widest point. The design combines a spherical body with a slender, flared neck, executed in earthy tones of brown and cream. The sgraffito incisions reveal the lighter underlayer of the ceramic, creating a striking visual contrast and texture. This piece was produced in France and dates from approximately 1958, as indicated by a label on the underside.
