Product description
An extensive collection of hand-painted Delft Polychrome pottery, manufactured in the Netherlands. This set stands out due to its vibrant color palette, a charming variation on traditional Delft blue. The collection consists of twelve individual pieces, including four vases in two sizes, two lidded pots, various bowls, a decorative plate, an ashtray, and smaller pots. Each item is made of ceramic and hand-decorated with floral motifs in characteristic colors such as yellow, blue, orange, and green on a cream-colored background. The underside of several pieces is marked with 'Delft polychroom Holland Handwerk', confirming its authenticity and artisanal origin. The overall condition of the collection is good, with a characteristic patina and crazing that is consistent with the age of the pottery. Photo 8 shows damage to the underside. These signs of time contribute to the authentic appearance of the set. The collection forms a cohesive whole. This collection is a beautiful addition to a classic or eclectic interior and can be presented as a group on a dresser or in a display cabinet. The individual pieces can also be used spread throughout a room to add a touch of Dutch craftsmanship and color.
