About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
Beautiful large antique industrial chest of drawers with no fewer than 48 individual drawers. A particularly weathered object crafted from solid wood, featuring original metal cup handles, hand-painted numbering, and an exceptional aged patina created by decades of intensive use.
Originally, this cabinet was presumably used in a workshop, hardware store, warehouse, or industrial setting for organizing small parts, tools, or materials. Each drawer has its own unique character with weathered surfaces, faded numbering, and visible signs of use that give the cabinet an authentic and highly decorative appearance.
The warm dark wood combined with the rhythmic grid of drawers creates a powerful visual object that fits perfectly within industrial, rustic, wabi-sabi, or country interiors.
