Product description
Exceptionally long and elegantly proportioned vintage sideboard in the style of 1960s Brazilian Modernism. With its expressive wood grain, clear lines, and delicate metal legs, this piece of furniture is an impressive example of the reduced design language of Mid-Century design.
Particularly characteristic is the dark brown, contrastingly grained rosewood veneer in a Jacaranda look. Warm reddish-brown nuances alternate with deep, almost black grain lines, forming a lively, harmonious overall picture. The wood pattern continues across the generous front, giving the sideboard its special appeal.
The long, flat construction offers plenty of storage space and yet appears light and elegant due to the slender, tapered metal legs. The front is symmetrically structured and combines four cabinet doors with two drawer blocks, each with four drawers. The restrained, geometric metal handles with dark inlays emphasize the high-quality, typical character of the era.
Condition: Beautiful used vintage condition with authentic patina. The wooden surfaces show slight signs of wear due to age and use, isolated scratches, and minor abrasions on edges and in the lower front area. Subtle signs of age are also visible on the metal feet and fittings.
