For sale: A beautiful, original hand-knotted Persian Kerman (Kirman) rug. This rug has a very impressive size of no less than 384 cm by 296 cm (almost 3 by 4 meters), perfect for a large seating area or under a dining table. The rug is executed in a highly sought-after 'washed / overdyed' style. The traditional colors have been beautifully faded by a mild wash to modern pastel colors, with soft shades of aqua, turquoise, grey, and beige. This gives the rug a trendy vintage look that fits perfectly in an industrial, modern, or classic interior. Specifications: - Origin: Kerman (Iran) - Production: 100% Hand-knotted (authentic Persian/Senneh knot) - Knot density: approx. 180,000 knots per m² (robust and sturdy quality) - Material: 100% Pure virgin wool on a cotton warp - Condition: The rug has been recently cleaned and is ready for immediate use. The sides (selvedge) are completely authentic, however, the fringe line on one side is no longer intact. Due to its large size and weight, the rug must be picked up.
