About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
a beautiful, original and very expressive abstract artwork by the well-known artist Gena Genadyj (often signed and known simply as 'Gena'), based in the Netherlands.
About the artwork:
This painting stands out for its dynamism and depth. The artist uses a characteristic impasto technique with thick, tactile layers of paint and powerful brushstrokes. The contrast is masterfully constructed: from a mysterious, cooler framework of petrol, green, and grey tones, a flaming, organic fire of bright red and magenta hues erupts in the center. The canvas features beautiful, flowing color transitions that appear differently from every angle and with changing light.
Because the canvas is stretched on a thicker modern frame (3D canvas), the sides are neatly painted. A frame is therefore not necessary; the work can be hung directly on the wall!
About the artist:
Gena Genadyj (1982) received his art education in Saint Petersburg and has lived and worked in the Netherlands since 1999. His distinctive, energetic style is popular with a wide audience, and his works are regularly traded through well-known art and auction platforms.
Reason for sale:
Due to a change in our interior / relocation, this beautiful work may move to a new enthusiast looking for a unique statement piece for the living room, hall, or office.
