Product description
Large signed abstract work by Rick Triest — black and white
Large abstract black and white work, signed in the lower right corner by Rick Triest. The work features a powerful monochrome composition with broad black brushstrokes/ink strokes, vertical drips, and an almost skyline-like appearance. Due to the large size and the subdued color palette, the work possesses a strong, graphic presence without becoming overwhelming.
The work is executed on paper and professionally framed behind glass. The rough/decked edges of the paper remain visible, giving the whole piece extra depth and character. The dark frame has a weathered, slightly industrial look that fits well with modern, minimalist, and vintage interiors.
Beautiful as a statement piece above a sofa, sideboard, desk, or in a gallery-style setting.
Dimensions
Frame: 136 cm wide x 96 cm high
Work in frame: 118 cm wide x 81 cm high
Condition
Good vintage condition. The work itself presents beautifully. The frame has age-related signs of wear/patina, befitting the appearance of the work.
