About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a mid-century art glass vase, crafted in the Murano glass style. Its dynamic form and vibrant color palette embody the spirit of the design era of the 1960s and 1970s.
The vase is made of hand-blown glass and features a multicolored composition, displaying vertical stripes in red, blue, yellow, orange, green, and white on a transparent body. The silhouette is elegant, with a slender neck widening into a ruffled, flower-like opening, and a stable, dark base. This piece is an example of the glass art techniques popular in the mid-20th century.
The overall condition of the vase is very good, reflecting careful treatment over the years. The glass retains its original clarity and luster, and the colors are vibrant and unfaded. It is an authentic vintage piece that has preserved the character and craftsmanship of its time.
With its sculptural presence, this vase can serve as a standalone decorative object on a sideboard, console, or side table. It pairs well with Mid-Century Modern, eclectic, or Bohemian style interiors, adding a colorful accent to any room.
