Product description
Elegant Danish coffee table, designed by Grete Jalk for Glostrup Møbelfabrik in the 1960s. A refined example of Scandinavian Mid-Century design, combining clear lines, carefully selected materials, and artisanal detailing.
The table is made of warm-toned teak and features an elongated top with subtly raised edges and beautifully rounded corners. The slender, slightly tapered legs give the design an airy appearance, while the open slatted shelf under the top adds a functional and rhythmic element. Particularly noteworthy is the meticulous finish of the tabletop edges, which gives the design a sculptural character without detracting from its understated form. The warm grain of the teak emphasizes the natural look of the furniture.
The coffee table is in very good vintage condition, with only minimal signs of use consistent with its age. The original factory label is no longer present.
Dimensions are as follows: height 50 cm, width 160 cm, depth 60 cm.
Carefully selected vintage design. Professionally restored where necessary, with respect for the original design, craftsmanship, and materials used.
