Product description
Beautiful Danish design three-seater sofa by Grete Jalk for France & Søn, Model: 118. Period: 1950s/1960s.
The sofa is a beautiful solid design of high quality, is made of solid teak, and has a nice seating comfort. The cushions with zipper, are made of the original soft blue / gray woolen upholstery. The sofa, the wood, the suspension and the upholstery are in good and original condition with small light signs of wear on the upholstery. The sofa is marked with the France & Son logo plate with numbering and the gold-coloured punch mark in the wood France & Søn 'made in Denmark'.
Approximate dimensions H x W x D x seat height: 80 x 192 x 78 x 44 cm.
The teak wood is in very good condition. The original upholstery has a number of light, not disturbing, stains on the wool fabric (see photo 8), but the cushions are still firm, not worn and do not sag.
