Green Murano glass flacon by Alberto Ricci for De Majo from 1993, Ø 10 cm, h 12.5 cm. Alberto Ricci is an Italian designer associated with the artistic production of the historic De Majo glassworks in Murano, with which he collaborated in the 1990s. His research explores the plastic and chromatic qualities of blown glass, creating vases, bottles, and objects characterized by essential forms and a refined use of color. Among his productions for De Majo is the Corunas series, created in the early 1990s. Ricci's works bear witness to a particularly lively phase of De Majo's production, in which the Murano artisanal tradition embraced the language of contemporary design through collaborations with international artists and designers.
