Product description
This is a Grasshopper Lounge Chair, designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll International. The chair is an early and significant work by the designer, known for its sculptural, organic form reminiscent of an insect. The frame is made of molded birch wood, forming a continuous, flowing line. The upholstery is covered with a cream-colored, textured fabric. This piece embodies the principles of organic modernism and is a classic of Mid-Century design.
